Mesa Verde National Park
- Established in 1906
- Located in the lower western corner of Colorado near the town of Cortez
- Highest elevation in the park: 8400 ft
- The park features cliff dwellings of Ancestral Pueblo people from A.D 600 - A.D. 1300
Mesa Verde is my least favorite national park that I've explored. If you enjoy visiting museums and spending hours upon hours reading and studying all of the displays then Mesa Verde is for you.
